I have a 01 f250 superduty lariat with extended cab. my back doors have a really bad habit of banging and rattling when i go over bumps. does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap and affective fix b/c its driving me crazy. any suggestions would be great thanx.
3 things could be wrong (but mostly cheap to fix)
Problem #1 The weather stripping could be bad causing a loose fit around the opening.
Problem #2 The latch is worn out.
Problem #3 The striker is worn down, or has loosened up and moved.
I would check the striker first. If it appears to be okay, then move on to the other stuff.
