I'm a very jealous fella, Garthneddy. Beautiful and tough looking, with an awesome drive-line. That 302 can be a decent puller with the granny gear too. That overdrive makes for good gas mileage as well.

Very nice!

If i could do it all over again i would have kept the original transfer case and swapped in a 300. That little 302 sure hates moving that much truck around, although on the freeway it does get very good numbers

That truck is absolutely gorgeous Garth!

If I had to pick another engine for my truck, that was period correct, would be the 6.9. Sweet find catfish.

Your truck is gorgeous! By the way, a friend of mine has the correct factory tachometer for this truck [you would have to locate the sending unit]. Contact me if interested and I will put you in touch with him.

Welcome to the forum!

That is a super slick truck catfish. I think that might just be my favorite color combo on these old trucks

Here is a few photos of our 1986 F150 again. A few with the new bumper installed a month ago. A few with us hauling a hot tub through town. The ladder rack is off now and so is the headache rack.

Welcome to FTE JPSF150. Can't wait to see the pictures.

And nice looking truck Catfish. It will turn some heads. I think a bigger set of tires will really make it stand out

Thanks guys for the welcoming. I got a question for ya, my truck is the stock 302 and I was wondering if it would be smart to upgrade the intake manifold and put a 4 bbl carb on it?
