oil pressure readings?
well i put in a mechanical oil pressure gauge on my 95 f150 300 I6
it got 228 000km
i am wondering what my oil pressure should be around
idle 23-24 psi
1500 rpm 35-40
2500 rpm 45-50
dose this sound good or what please let me know

If there pressure readings are for normal engine temperature-they are outstanding-especially with that mileage (kilometer-age?) and if the engine hasnt been rebuilt.
Is the engine stock with stock oil pump?? What weight engine oil do you use?? How often do you change the oil??Your oil pressure reinforces what some many on this forum already know: the 4.9 is a long running, tough engine!!
