I've been thinking about trying to set another G2G. Any upcoming events in the Vegas of Fallon areas?

Well, around here for Labor Day there's the Rib cook-off in Sparks, the Canteloupe festival here in Fallon, the following weekend is the Camel races in VC, nothing really automotive themed though.

Yea, there is TOO DAMN much going on at that time. Jeff lets try to set something up in the first of October. We would like to make it but we aren't taking any more on for the rest of this month & Sept. With many school districts going to four day school weeks both teachers & parents are going to make some changes & September will be hectic for many people.
Is the Las Vegas people going to join in? In Arizona we tried to find a stop that was kind of equal distance so nobody had to do all the driving.
Just my thoughts. October is still nice enough to camp or have a day outing.

October does sound like a good idea. It gives everyone a chance to plan. Holidays are a now go for me. They are on the black list for time off at work so the beginning to middle of October would be best for me.

Now we need to figure out a place to hold it.

Jeff,
We need to figure out if the guys from Las Vegas are in. If they are then the middle of the State. If not then we need to figure who from the North is going & decide.
My suggestion is what Bart does in Arizona & post a G2G sign in & find out who wants to go & get input as to where people think they want to meet. Our first meeting in Arizona after Bart took over as CL was at Lynx Lake out of Prescott. I believe only 6 of us made it. But the next I think was in Flagstaff @ Travis's house & there were more but we had left Arizona so we didn't make it.
I know Bart would be happy to give you ideas on planning etc. Just PM him.
If you PM him tell him I said hello.

Thanks for the advice Craig. I have posted a sign in for the G2G.

We also have a new member to the Chapter.

Where is EVERYONE? I see we have signed up new members but where are they. Hey Jeff how about passing out reps to ALL members & remind them we need them to come post & be active. Bart use to pass out reps from time to time. I don't know but I assume CLs can pass reps more often than us regular members to the same members.
Anyway a little jump start is needed I think Jeff. I appreciate you being our Chapter Leader Thanks.
