Dakota gauges to American autowire
#2
Not yet, but hope to someday.
Are you asking which wires to use? In theory all you need from the AAW harness is constant 12v, a switched 12v, and maybe a start signal depending on what function? Not sure you need a start signal, but I mention it anyway.
And all those wires should be readily available in that type of harness. Other than that all the wires you need for the instruments to work should have come with the DD cluster. All sensors and interlink wires should be in the kit and all you have to do is find a good place to mount the brains and those couple of power wires.
I suppose if I'm going to give that kind of info I'd better re-read the instructions! Not sure what else might be needed, but interested to hear the experience of those that have done it.
Good luck. Oh, and which Dakota Digital setup did you get? Or are you still in the deciding phase?
