Jumpin' Speedos Batman

I just got a '95 PowerStroke Crewcab 4wd. F-350 E4OD.

PRETEND it's my '94 IDI so I don't have to go up to the PS forum since it won't make anydifference.

The speedo needle jumps about 5 MPH, I think it's the sensor on the rearend. Is there anything else it could be?

I have the bed off so I'm going to replace it with one known to work off of a spare rearend.

It was the speedo sender/sensor in the rearend.
There was a suprising amount of difference between the two but they were interchangeable.
