AODE troubles
I have a 94 F150 with the AODE transmission. Came off the highway one day and when I came to a stop tranny would not engage unless I revved up the rpm's. Dropped the pan, put a drain plug in, fluid looked and smelt ok. Dropped fluid from Torque converter and that looked brown. Bought a scanner, pulled code 668 (over voltage on TR sensor) replaced $100 sensor just to clear the code tranny still needs to be revved to get into drive or any other gear, once it gets going it is fine until you slow down to 5 miles an hour, then it needs to be revved. Tranny was rebuilt 5 years ago and less than 15,000 since. Any ideas? TC?
