Thanks!
The seats are a bit softer and more ergonomic. The adjustment is a huge bonus, lots more forward and backward positions, as well as 2 backrest positions.
As for the bezels, my approach was a lot less pretty. I just took some silver rat-can, sprayed it into the cap until I had enough, and carefully brushed it on with a q-tip.

Put some new shocks on my truck yesterday, holy hell did these make a difference in ride quality. The fronts were the original (!!) shocks, and all but one of the four stayed compressed when pushed together, completely shot. I was also happy to note the cheap Monro-Matic replacement units I picked up at Checker were actually USA-made Motorcraft shocks, just painted blue. Definitely one of the better things I've put on the truck, next to the aftermarket tach and radio.

All 4 shocks ran about $95 total. The front is really easy, just jack up and support the frame to take some of the load off the suspension, then turn the wheel so you can get an impact on the bottom nut without hitting the tire.
The rear is by far harder, but really not that difficult of a job either. You just have to be careful to get the shocks all the way mounted before you cut the strap that holds them compressed for you, if it slips off the stud after you cut the strap you're screwed. You have to get back out from under the truck, and compress the shocks and wire them down.

The ones that came out of my boxes were stamped MOTORCRAFT-MADE IN USA, but obviously what you get is all up to chance.

Here are some recent pics of the truck so you can see some stuff I keep forgetting to add to this thread, like my new center console, the toolbox I built in shop last semester, etc etc.
also cut off the massive hackjob of a receiver hitch that used to hang under my bumper...
Dumps straight off the cat just behind the cab, the original hugeinous muffler was rusted out.
toolbox
cool sticker on the inside of my roof (if you know what it is)...
