undercarraige coating

I just bought a completely rust free 91 crew cab from Texas. It still has the factory black paint on the frame. I want to rustproof the frame and floors. I'm not driving it in the winter, but it will sit on my driveway over winters.

Does anyone have experience with KBS coatings, i've seen a lot on POR-15, but the color choice of the KBS would be close to the floors now.

Never used or heard of KBS. But with POR15, once it sets up a little bit (needsto be tacky) you can top coat it with other paint. So you could always get the same color paint from a paint shop in spray bombs, then spray over the POR and it will match almost perfectly. Also before you do anything under there, get a good brushable seam sealer and hit all the seams before painting anything.

Is seam sealer just brushable undercoating, or something else?

No, it usually comes in quart cans (you can buy it in caulk tubes, but its not brushable, you have to use your finger, or some tool to smooth out) Here is a link to 3M stuff http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/3m-b...ID=69768825522 I just looked it up online, I know nothing about the company selling it. I buy it from my local autobody supply shop. I just use a acid brush to basically "paint" the sealer on.
