Yesterday I go out and see a squirrel run up the passenger side fenderwell so I open hood and they build one hell of a nest. So I shop vac all the junk out and go and start the truck and low and behold it won't start.
I turn the key and all the dashboard lights light up and the WTS light goes on and off and go and turn key and it's like a dead battery just dead.
I noticed that the squirrel chewed some wires on the passenger side fenderwell and it looks like there is a battery relay of some short but I am not sure.
I am not a mechanic and only work on my Buicks when they break, can anyone direct me to a engine schematic or diagram so I can possibly see what the squirrels did to my F350. I love this truck and now it's just dead in my backyard.
Thanks guys......a buddy and I investigated further this morning and we got truck wired back up so that it cranks and runs, however the MFing squirrels it appeared chewed thru the I think air temp sensor. That sensor is the one that meet in the middl of the Y pipe up top by the turbo, they also chewed thru wires that go to a sensor down by the fuel bowl I think and chewed thru another sensor.
So we too the connector to a local Ford dealer and told him my tale of woe and they ordered the two connectors and should have them on monday and we will reconnect and go from there. I am sure if I ran the truck it would have throw a code for one of the sensors not being right.
I thank everybody on this board, I love this board the few times I have had problems and posted you guys have always helped lend a hand I thank you all very much.
