Telemarketers
6 telemarketers have called already. Two from publishing companies. One wants to sell me satellite TV. One wants to sell me an alarm system. The other two I didn't even listen to.
I know these are hard working people who are just trying to make a living, but come on. Leave me alone!
Should have put the phone number on the no call list as soon as Qwest gave it to me. Oh well ... 29 more days until they "stop" calling.

Last year, it seemed nearly every morning a telemarketer would call for some danged reason. I remain polite if it is a real person but hang up immediately if it's a "canned" one
Well, I have dialup so, I need one anyway. Still have two old fashioned rotary phones hooked up, though. Out here, storms mean lightening and lightening means a power pole may go down. So when the power goes out, the mobile phones go out. The only way to call APS ...or any emergency service... is through one of the two rotaries. What can be frustrating, though, is hearing a message asking you to "press a button" (when you don't have that option) and/or no waiting online option for "the next available operator".
