another atf question.
Meph, Dexron is the GM designation, Mercon is the Ford. Their specifications are so similiar that one fluid fits both. The Mercon/Dexron. So either Mercon or Mercon/Dexron is OK to use.
On my last two changes, I used Castrol synthetic (Syntec) Mercon/Dexron III. I also beleive Mobil is a good fluid.
