Please allow me to introduce myself....new to me '02 v10 44k
Like many on here I have been looking for the right excursion to become available for about a year and started lurking here about the same time I started looking. About a month ago what I thought was a good deal came across and I jumped at the chance. The rig is a black/tan 2002, v10 limited with only 44,000 miles. Clean inside and out, nice looking bone stock x. I am not sure I can post a picture yet as I just joined, but as soon as permissible I will do so. I have an f150 king ranch and a 4runner as well, so this thing won't he run more than about 2-3000 miles per year.
Already planning on doing a few things to it that I saw on here. Was hoping to do the spring swap later rather than sooner, but this excursion sure likes to wander down the road...
The x will be used primarily to cart the family around locally with other families and as a hunting vehicle. Tow an occasional trailer with my utv or possibly my skid steer to camp once I make a couple spring changes.
Anyway, this husband and father of a boy (5) and a girl (9) thought I would say hello Thank you guys for all of the great information posted here.

Definitely reminds me to go back through the under 100 dollar mod thread. i can't remember what it's called, but holy crap, lots of cool stuff in there.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! It is really nice to have this forum as a resource.
I may have paid a little too much for it, but unlike most things - they aren't making these trucks every day anymore. I looked at probably a dozen or so before I found this one.
It is a 4x4, I forgot to put that in my original post. Thanks for pointing that out.

Good pick-up. Got to love the stones. Thanks for the welcome.
I feel fortunate to find one with low miles. Looked at quite a few that were pretty roached out mechanically and cosmetically and they were still asking near $10k for a v10 gasser 4x4. We will see how it goes, but the kids and wife love it. Perhaps a little too much at 12 mpg...
