06 F250 Leveling issue.

I have a 2006 F250 SD exc, short bed, 4x4 with a 5.4, 6000 lbs front springs.

I want to put a leveling kit on this truck, the main reason I havent is because. The front end isnt as low as some are. Here is what I want to do, and wondering if anyone else has done this, or if a kit is available.

Measureing from the ground up threw the middle of my rim to the wheel well My measurements are 41 1/4" in the rear and 40" in the front.

If I put a 2 inch leveling kit in the front, the front will be higher then the rear. I dont want that. I would like to put a lift on it, but not much, so I figured this would be a good time.

DO they make a kit with a 2.5 or 2.0 inch front and a block to lift the back end 2"more then stock.

SO the finished product would be 43 1/4 " in the back and 42.1/2' in the front. It is like a 2inch over all lift.

My reason is I am not going to run big tires, maybe slightly over stock or stock. and I dont want to change the geometry of the suspension, or add to much driveshaft angle.

I do like my friends F350 but its a 97, he sits slightly higher then me, and he even sits slightly higher then his 06 F350. But did not lift it.

Input would be appreciated

I have seen a kit for the super duties by ready lift. p.n. 69-2517CP is specific to my F250, but you can look it up on their site. They call it a hybrid lift - part leveling/part lift. Others have been able to lift their trucks with just a leveling kit for the front springs and then just changing out the rear blocks with F350 blocks. I will do it after the baby is born, need to buy stock diapers first.

All you need is a front leveling kit and a set of rear blocks out of an F350 as they are about 4'' VS. your 250 blocks that are about 2''

I did the Readylift system and am very pleased although i bought the rear blocks used from a 350. If you do this make sure you buy new u-bolts and get the correct ones.

Any lift you do will change the steering geometry somewhat and should be aligned afterwards. Assume you will need caster/camber shims. Many don't do the track bar drop bracket or adj. bar or assume they don't need it or don't experience any problems without them. If you can afford it it's worth your piece of mind further down the road. Below 2" you are ok without one. After my installation i am +.- 1/4" all the way around.
