Exhaust stud

My 08 with 31000 v-10 has a broken stud allready is this the norn? Thanks Todd

I though this problem was finished with the early models.

Its for sure an 08 , I started hereing a sound when it started in the morning and it went away when it warmed up so I took a flashlite in the wheelwell area and a stud is gone.

Someone on this board managed to remove the busted stud without removing the manifold. I also replace all of mine recently as ten or so were busted off.
Do a search and I'm sure you will find the thread.

Is this in an F-series truck? Or E-series?

Reason I'm asking is whether it's a 3-valve or 2-valve? Plastic valve covers, or aluminum?

08 f-250 3 valve motor. Todd
