It works GREAT!! Unfortunately, my truck is in the shop, and they offered me a Focus to drive around. I just got a ride home instead and grabbed my Fusion.
My XMSN quit. Don't know what happened. I was driving on level ground, doing 55ish and gave it some gas to go around a Prius that was doing 45 in a 55 and it didn't do anything. RPM's shot up like I was in neutral and that was it. Pulled over, put it in park, went back to drive, and nothing. Reverse; nothing. 1st; nothing. Killed the truck, started it back up, nothing. Called Roadside Assistance, and they sent a truck within 30 minutes to tow me and the truck to the dealer. Signed a piece of paper, and that was that.
However, WTF? It's my second 08 since the engine crapped out in the first one and they ****ed my truck up putting a new engine in it. Now the transmission is ****ed up in the new one! I haven't even been killing this one for the most part. I reset the puter to stock and pulled the Edge out of it at least. No warning light, or CEL came on either. I'm getting sick of this ****.
What happened to the first engine and how did they F it up putting a new engine in?
It got swapped out with an older one that had the spark plug problem, they couldn't fix an exhaust leak afterward, they got grease all over my interior and headliner, and a bunch more *****. I am friends with the GM, so he basically gave me another one after I bitched to him about it. I was still out my bedliner and had to get it done again, but it came with a rear view mirror camera which my other Lariat didn't have.
Now the xmsn is out in this one. They left a message when I was out of cell range, and it sounds like they said it's "toast" whatever that means. **** it; it's under warranty.
