fitment issues - maybe

Does anyone know if a 5.8/aod will physically fit in a 4/4spd 86 Mustang? I know I will need a driveshaft, mounts, headers, oil pan/pickup...shifter. I have several to choose from, 86-93. What years are best, what else will I need, other than PCM, harness, fuel lines, I will get one with all accessories and serpantine drive belt. I just made 2 harnesses out of 3 this weekend, so electricals don,t bother me.

PS. hood clearance doesnt matter, I have a Lincoln to help with that.

Muscle Mustangs di a couple nice articles on what you will need to change to put a 351 in a Fox body. Alos 5.0Resto has a list on their site. there is mild mod/fab work to be done. The k member needs to be changed, and plan on buying a hood. I would stick with the 92-93 motor. Dont forget the 8.8 rear.
