i need a third pedal
thanks jz
I bought an F250 parts truck to do the same thing to a Bronco.
The pedal lever won't just add into the pedal assembly you have already. :/
(it's a Ford thing;)
The brake pedal pad was little so I swapped that to the F250's lever...

Are you wanting a transmission with a granny gear, so you can skip 1st? :)
If so, you'll have to get a ZF out of an F250 or F350.
That big ol' piece of crap is finally out of there! :)
Just did this today...

The plan is to weigh it tomorrow.
5 speed ZF weighs ~145 pounds.
T18 with a cast iron bell housing weighs ~182 pounds.
1356E weighs ~80 pounds.

ps- I need a rubber pad for my new clutch pedal ;)
pps- Measured some stuff and put the cross member from the F250
into the Bronco and found holes in the frame, ready and waiting! :)
Add 4 gallons of ATF and lines and 260 pounds isn't too far off.
5 speed ZF weighs ~145 pounds but add 55 pounds for the flywheel,
clutch disc, pressure plate and extra pedal... is about 200 pounds. :)
So not that much of a total difference really but working on them there
is, because the manual comes out in pieces it's easier to work with, IMO.
~150# T18 with a cast iron bell housing weighs ~182# +55# = ~237#.
1356E weighs ~80 pounds.

ps- squashed the hell out of one old bathroom scale today with that E4OD LOL :)
