2001 ford ranger clutch problems

i just had the whole tranny replaced and i have bled the lines numorous times. sometime the clutch will be spongy and the next time i push it in it will be stiff as a board.

Is the difference at different RPM?, different engine temp?, different stop light?

i will be driving down the road and it be spongy and next time i shift its all there.
