i have been using amsoil in my e150 but it always seems the auto parts stores in my area either are short on the oil or out of the filters... not to mention they are expensive. Considering ordering over the web or calling directly if possible. Not confident that possible alternatives would even compare.
Anybody using amsoil or knowledgeable enough to comment? amsoil comes highly recommended to me by two individuals each with many years experience in racing circuits and maintaining vehicles.
The reason is because Amsoil is usually sold by MLM salesmen who come here under the guise of someone looking to be helpful and it inevitably turns out they are dealers. They've been nothing but trouble for over 4 years so they simply aren't allowed here.

This may be trouble for me to talk about it, but I am in no way a dealer. Just lending my knowledge. I don't know where you live, but here on the west coast a store called "G.I. Joes" carries it. I think it's like five or six dollars a quart. Just lettin ya know! I've seen it at a lot of sporting good stores.
