truck is at dealer has hight pressure oil leak, shop calls and says that he went to first test and the bolt or something in back of motor that he needs to remove is rounded off and he now has to remove the exhaust and possible intake to make test for where the leak is. this truck has only been worked on once before and it was lower crank seal. no where near the top back part of where he was talking about, i think the mechanic rounded it off and instead of fixing it they want to go around it and charge me for 2 more additional hours i had to authorize over phone because the guy that called wouldn't discuss the rounded bolt any further. they still have truck, should i call manager now and disuss it or wait until after he is finished. any and all comments will be appreciated.
If your truck is still under warranty, the dealer can pull the OASIS and see what works been done to it.
Be calm, use logic and take good notes. Who did you talk to...what did they tell you...what did they recommend. If you have to take the issue higher, it helps if you can provide specifics instead of "some guy at the dealership said....".
