Hi all, I am in need of replacement tires for my 28' Keystone Bunkhouse Travel Trailer. It has 205 75 14s on now. What brand tires have you had good luck with? Thanks in advance!
I just bought some TowMax (Goodyear off-brand) for my 24' Wilderness 24M travel trailer. They've only been on about a month or so. We haven't had a chance to get her out of the driveway yet.
Pulling her back from the shop was a pleasure. It's amazing how much of a difference new tires on a trailer can make.
I have Carlisle's. I have had no problems, but if you look at other forums, there seem to be issues. Keep them inflated to spec and check them consistently and there shouldn't be a problem. Oh and I highly reccommend getting a load range one step above what is currently on your TT. If you have D's go with E's.
Check out Maxxis as well...lots of happy folks on the net after they went Maxxis...I know I will when it is time...oh...and a step up in load range (if available) is a good idea too!

I just replaced my 5'er tires with Green Ball tires. Only have about 600 miles on them, so not enough to say if they are good/bad. It's what the tire store recommended.
Carlsile... Maxiss...They are good tires. Here is what I always check... The tire build date. On the sidewall is an oval indenting thing in the mold, it happens at the time the tire is made... It has 4 digits. The first 2 is the week, the second 2 is the year. In other words 0206 would be the second week of 2006... You get it.
The reason this is important on tires, is the rubber used is good for approximatly 5 years under normal condition. ( not big smokey burnouts ect) After 5 years, even on the shelf the rubber starts to break down.
Get a tire that is current or close to current, not one that has been on the shelf for a year
This process is true for all tires by the way. Check it next time you buy truck or car tires also.or look at yours presently.
I would highly recommend goodyear marathon's , we took a 1700 mile trip a few weeks ago and it wasnt until we got home that i noticed one tire had a broken belt, hell i thought it was my truck causing the shake, here to good year marathons ....that and having a horseshoe up my ***.
