Depends entirely on what the Oasis report shows. If there's been a lot of engine work, I would walk away real fast.

Some 6.0L diesels have been real problematic engines.

DO NOT buy it without an Oasis!

If I got the VIN, is this website able to run one of those reports?

No. It's no longer allowed on these forums.

A Ford dealer may or may not do it for you.

The price seems a little high to me. Personally, I would not buy a vehicle that has been modified, you never know what the PO did or did not do correctly.

The red flag the low mileage sends up for me is the fact it might have spent most of it's life sitting in a Ford repair facility. Probably not, but the Oasis report would confirm or deny it.

I personally wouldn't pay $20,000 for it considering the lift and the 6.0L

I realize I have been away for a little bit...what gives with not being allowed to ask for an Oasis report?

I would assume if FTE has been limited some of the others that used to answer requests for Oasis are too...but maybe not...hmmm...I'll have to send the one I'm thinking of a PM to see if he is restricted too...

I thought by your first response that FTE no longer 'allowed' Oasis threads on here...

Thanks for the link!

Joe.

Its not against the forum rules to request, access or post up OASIS reports.

Myself (amongst others) have had their Oasis access revoked thats all, so we can't directly help you folks out, sorry about that.
