I just changed the oil in my '89 w/ 302 over the weekend. I used a quart of the Risoline, just to see if it will do anything. I'm not going to give any data yet, because I have only driven it once since the oil change. Maybe next week I will be able to give a better analysis.

BTW, it's an '89 F250 w/ efi 302 and 130,000 miles.

Roger, Any results from your Rislone test?

I did not notice any difference. But, then again, the 302 in my truck is on it's last leg. The only thing that is going to help is a rebuild.

I guess the only way to really test it is to get a couple cab companies involved and then randomly select say 30 of 60 new cabs to include use of Rislone. To keep the cab company and their mechanics totally unbiased you would have to do all their oil changes for free to keep secret which ones received the Rislone. Then after 60,000 miles look at the fuel mileage records, compression, etc., perhaps even tearing down some of the engines. I think a test like this was done for some other product, but likely it would never happen for Rislone. Who is going to bother with it.
