No experience running bio but I've heard that you need to replace fuel filters more often.

Some people use a small amount of bio each fill-up to help lubricate injectors.

I been using biodiesel for about two years. The only problem I have had was a couple of clogged fuel filters.

The pros are better lubrication for the entire fuel system. Independence from fossil fuel. Better smelling exhaust (smells like fried chicken). Feeding farmers and starving terrorists. It reduces lifecycle
carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, by 78 percent compared to petroleum diesel. It is biodegradable.

The cons. It has less btu's. Fuel mileage is around 5%-10% less. I average 15.5 mpg. It can be hard to find. It will degrade rubber. Need to change fuel filters more often. I change mine when I do oil changes every 5-6k. Biodiesel will gel around 35 deg depending on feed stock of the fuel So during winter I run B50 to be safe. And when going to the mountains I run dino diesel to be safe. The main thing when running biodiesel is keeping a keen ear and feel for the engine. If it feels sluggish change those fuel filters fast or there could be injector or fuel pump problems.
