95 ford explorer
Hello for awhile now my wife's ford explorer has had a rough idol intermittent at start up only for a min then smooths out, also while driving down the road it starts to buck and has been doing this for awhile and now check engine light is on. I took it to AZ but there tester showed error so not sure if that's there machine malfunction or what, I plan to try another store but meanwhile I thought i would ask is anyone has any ideas I could check. I just put new plugs and wires and this did not help. Would a clogged fuel filter cause a check engine light? also when go to slow down for a stop the car makes a loud hum then when stop it goes away but take foot off brake and let it roll it starts humming again, anyone know cause of this? I would appreciate any ideas.

The loud HUM is the AIC, mounted on the throttle body with 2 10mm bolts, needs to be cleaned or replaced. This will also affect the starting/stalling issue.
If your CEL is illuminated you need to get codes., but I suspect a miss fire code initiated by the AIC.
