Spent some time over the weekend installing 4 foglights behind my grill. Everything went great except for the switched included with the kits were both shorted out and kept blowing fuses. The lights are the Off-Road lights from Harbor Freight. I mounted the middle two to a bracket i made and the outter 2 to the fiberglass shroud on their side. I'll get some better pics tomorrow but it really looks great!
...but I'm not sure you'll get very good "fog" usage out of those lights. They seem like they are mounted too high, and would cause an even stronger direct reflection problem. On the other hand, you'll never have an issue with your high beams again!
Thanks for the input all. I'll try to get some install pictures soon. I mainly used some angle aluminum and bar stock to make a |--------| shaped mount for the two center lights, and mounted the outer two to the shell sideways. This gave a nice pattern with the outer lights even with the head lights. As for the fog light comment, i agree. The light are mainly going to be for the dark roads here in WV and my upcoming trip to the Outer Banks!
