Question

Transmission fluid leaking

I have a 1993 Explorer 2wd with an automatic transmission. It is leaking tranny fluid (as fast as you can put it in) from the right side of the tranny just above the cat. Any ideas what it could be before I start tearing into it? Any diagrams of the tranny available? Thanks in advance.

Check to see if it is the modulator. Sometimes the diaphragm inside leaks and it the vacuum hose is off, fluid will leak out.
