On ford website--extended warranty plans exclude snow plow trucks----like mine--I plow only my own property---not a lot---is their any other plan that would work well?
Swiss manufacture it,
French hoard it,
Italians squander it,
Americans say it's money
Hindus say it does not exist,
You know what I say-
I say time is a crook--

I bought my SuperDuty, it had a plow on it, I made them take it off... They while it was on, where trying to sell me a warranty.
Here is my thought, If your buying the truck with the plow, and they sell you a warranty, and didnt honor it. You would have one hell of an arguement in court.
Read the fine print, Ford ussually makes you sign a paper for arbitration, instead of court.
I would ask when makeing the purchase, and make them put it in writing, and initial, to close the deal.
I would say In my opinion... If the truck is equiped with a Plow package from the factory then It should cover it... If it is not then??? I would rather have the plow package, you get an oil cooler, and 6000 lbs springs up front
I remember back a few years I was kicking tires on a new F250 4wd.I had an '88 at the time and got between 10 & 12 mpg.I asked the salesman that was hounding me what the F250's got for mileage.(I was baiting him) He said most guys were getting around 18 mpg.I said wow great.I will sign right now if you will put that in writing and I can return the truck for full refund if it does not.All of a sudden he says "Well thats what I am hearing they are getting".Needless to say he walked away and did not pressure me anymore.
