check engine light
the check engine light came on in my f 250 psd manual trans with 58k, I had these code P0401 ( the egr)(( should I worry about this code)) and P1000, I cleared the P0401 code but not the P1000, how do I delete the P1000 code, thanks for the help

the P1000 will clear itself after some driving.. the truck needs to go through it's self diagnostic routine..the code is showing that the KAM data has been erased, either by clearing codes with a scanner or disconnecting the batteries..
if P401 is persistant, then have it checked out.. you can try cleaning the EGR valve yourself..
