I'm ready for the weekend. I'm going to get my truck out of the shed and clean the Thunderbird stuff out of it, the bed has been a storage area for seats, dash, interior stuff since March.
The truck has been sitting there, needin' a door, and I've been driving a Chevy. ugh.
Expect pics and a short vid clip when I get it out.

hey been busy with college crap but thought i'd drop by, pintoches still follows the forums religiously but never bothers to post he only has his phone.... also both of us are planning to attend the G2G if we can.... college is hard.... sleepy... gnyte

Ha Allen glad to hear you and Ches are alive and well, we all were wondering. Well all I am outa here on the 20th and will be state side on the 21st Aug yahoo!
Looking forward to getting some serious wrench time in on the Fords, and just being home for a while. Count me and Penny in on what ever, where ever on the G2G.
Looking forward to seeing some old friends and seeing and making some new one's. Will start a thread when I start on Penny's new rig, a 79 F250 4x4 frame/460 auto, 6" lift and 35" TSL boggers, topped of with a sportsman class race car tube chassis.
Might even use Blue to trailer ol red to the G2G, and get Penny to drive ol Silver, what do we get if 2folks come and bring 3 trucks?

Starting this Fri the 21st-23rd Aug is the 42 nd annual Springfield Swap/car corral meet at the fairgrounds. 7 am -8 pm FREE ADMISSION, maybe a parking fee?
Its the place Unk BoB got ol No Mo Kabluie's great condition chrome bumper and FACTORY Ford Bush bar, for $50.00. I got my Dodge 5 1/2 lift and ol red's boggers and rims there in 07, should have TONS of Ford parts, tires, racing gear ect....
Me and Penny are going to make a day outa it on on 07:00 sat 22, jet lag or not! Great time to have a mini FTE G2G, so come on, NO FIGHTING OVER FORD PARTS. LOL
I'll even buy every FTE Missouri chapter person I know, that shows up a corn dog, pretty sure they will be selling them?

hey freeek....my ol truck has been sittin for 2 yrs,got covered in oak sap til it looked black. i was gonna sell her for scrap, but after a good bath she looked so good i started drivin her again! if we go to springfield swap, how will we know other members? i wuz in 6Lpwlsomethun er others' cafe in ozark beach, yesterday. good tuna salad. he looked busy, so i didnt intro myself. this afternoon, i have an overnite trip to rockford, il on business darrell

Well boys and girls. I start a new job tomorrow, The guy the just called me this afternoon. Yay. After being off since January, it's going to be tough on me, I'm way out of shape. I hope I survive the first day.
The only problem parking is a certain area, is, they have those people out in the parking lot waving you to empty spaces, wherever they may be, chances are, they won't be where you all want to meet up.

Congrats Lee on getting a gig, hang in there with it. As far as the parking thing, If you ask to park in a area far away from the gate they might let you?
I'm thinking when you go in the main entrance and hook a 1st left when you can, then go to the bottom of the hill and kinda back up, over by a exit gate fence line?
I will probably be jet lagged outa my mind, but me and Penny are gonna hit the gate (also a good meeting area) at 07:00.

Good morning, havnt done ***** on the ford this weekend. Baught a motorhome though. I know it's a 360 dodge, but $200 and i drove it home so i couldnt pass it up. Needs some interior work but I could sleep in it now if i wanted.

Ok Terry, I drink Coor's Light and Penny drinks Miller Light. Unless Penny doesn't want to fight ol Silver down the road (it's a bit wonderery) we will show with 3 rigs.
I am on the plane the 20th and in the US of A on the 21st, finally get to Springfield around 2 :30 PM. Might do a quick lookie at the auto swap at the fairgrounds.
But still planning a 07:00 thunder run for all the good stuff on Sat. Corn dog policy still in effect. LMAO
