Wheel look to be steel. My wheels have 7 bolts. The tire size is 265/75/16. Does anyone know the exact specs of my wheel when it comes to wheel width, offset, backspacing etc? I can't seem to find that info on the net. If you have a link to that information or can just post it here I would appreciate it.
Are you sure your excursion has 7 lug nuts on it, I've got an 03 and it's got 8. I also had a 2000F-250 4x4 that had 8 on it. You should have 16x7 inch wheels and when you say offset do you mean the millimeters between each lug nut. If so, it's 8x170mm and I'm not sure of the backspacing. Are you trying to put on new wheels?
Yea, I am sure. I just had my wife re-count them....and it's 7 lug nuts. I have the steel wheels though...does that matter.?
Offset:
The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types (measured in millimeters).*
Zero Offset
The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel.
Positive
The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars.
Negative
The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.
If the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be adversely affected. When the width of the wheel changes, the offset also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you added width, the additional width would be split evenly between the inside and outside. For most cars, this won't work correctly. We have test fitted thousands of different vehicles for proper fitment. Our extensive database allows our sales staff to offer you the perfect fit for your vehicle.
*Backspacing, similar to offset, is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel (measured in inches).
As an example, my Tundra has +60 offset which means my brake calipers are completely inside the wheel.
Can you post a picture of your wheel, mines got 8 and I've never heard of an Excursion that came with 7 lugs. They were built on the same plattform as the Superduties and they all came with 8 lug wheels.
I am at work right now. I will do so tomorrow...cuz i have to get home to my son's B-Day party tonight. Thanks for your help and I will be sure and get a pic up tomorrow.

Please do.
I'm with Frank. I've never heard of an Excursion with 7 lugs.
If I recall the specs correctly, our wheels are an 8 on 170mm bolt pattern, with a 4.5" backspace.
Thanks for posting the offset sketch, I always wondered what it was. Also I've heard of 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 lugs but never 7 but I never cease to be amazed about anything. Maybe you didn't count the 1 you had your finger on.

On my wifes 2008 E-150 cargo van she has 7 lugs on it and I double check that. I thought I was crazy when I counted them. But my excursion has 8 lugs.
I haven't pulled the hub cap off yet....but I will tonight. Thanks for the help guys!! Sorry I haven't posted a pic up yet...but will try to do so tonight if the hubcap idea doesn't reveal an "8th" lugnut.
