New Project Planning!

New Project Planning!
I've been thinking of what to do with the 73 Highboy chassis that I picked up last month. I finally figured out what to do with it!
I'm going to install a 460/C6 in it, shorten the frame 16", and put my 53 Ford Panel on it!
I've got just about everything I need. I am looking for some 35-37 inch 16.5 tires for it. I have a set of 4 aluminum 10/16.5 wheels already, just need some tires to mock it up with. Anybody have any worn 37" tires out there?

I think I found some 37" mudders that I can get for a small trade. I just need them to mock it up for clearance issues. I'll by new after it is finished ( years down the road......).
I did make a very good score today. I picked up (2) 7.3 diesel engines , one has 120K, and the other has 60K since a major rebuild, and had a new IP and starter with less than a thousand miles on them ( truck was rolled). Both came with a C6 tranny. He also tossed in a complete ATS turbo system for a 7.3.
Total cost $200 in cash, and 200 gallons of my homemade biodiesel!
Sometimes I amaze myself....................
PS. I would like you to keep an eye open for a hood and side panels for a 35 Ford PU tho.
PPS. Did you ever find out about that 66 Cyclone?

LOL....It's real easy Allen. When you are on the web page you want to link to, go to the address bar at the top of your browser, and Right click it with your mouse. A drop down menu will appear. Left click on "copy". Now go to the reply portion of the thread you want to insert your link into. Make sure you have at least one "space" after anything you've written, and Right click your mouse again. Another drop down menu will appear. Just Left click on "paste" and the hyperlink will magically appear!
