Morning Ken, et al. Headed to the big city of Portland to pick up daughter in law today. Once again, making it almost to the border but not quite crossing over. A stop at Leon Leonwood Bean's little store in Freeport. If you have never been to Freeport and LL Beans in the height of tourist season, well, you don't know fun!

Good morning all you Maine-iacs!!!

Dave...a guy I work with bought a retirement home just down the street from Beans...you can see the store from his house. He says it's a very quiet area in spite of the shoppers.

 

It isn't bad, really. just a plethora of peoples. SHE has me logging today. Oh well, gets me out of the house.

 

He and his wife love it...offered it to me for a weekend getaway if I'm so inclined.

Good luck with the logging...way too hot for that type of stuff.
