Just got up from the dinner table a little bit ago. Pork chops, corn on the cob, and a potato turnip dish the wife excels at. Best part- every thing on the table was out of the garden except for the meat. Been eating good for a while now. fresh GOOD RIPE tomatoes, new potatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, okra. Looking forward to some turnips soon, and have water mellon as big as footballs (got them in way late). Should help with the grocery bill.

Hey alchymist, why don't you put your real name in your signature, it's easier to communicate.

All those fresh veggies sound good, but I'm not a farmer. I do like mashed potatoes and turnips and garden fresh cucumbers(amazing the difference in taste compared to store bought). Luckily a couple of my kids like to garden, so I'm kept in a good supply of tomatoes, green beans, squash, cucumbers, watermelon(sometimes) and the last couple of years really big pumpkins.

Sorry, can't put my real name in - if I did they would find me! Besides, there's too many Clay's on here already.

, I only know three Clay's, two on this site and one guy who used to work for me. I haven't seen the one who worked for me in years, he was a pretty nice guy and a good worker.

Dang Joe I was 35 before I met another guy with the same name face to face.

I answer to quite a few other names also but the mods would be rather upset if I tried to post them.

We're going to have to differentiate you two by some other name. Mifflin Clay, Pittsburgh Clay. I like Pittsburgh Clay, makes you sound like an old time hustler.

I know about those other names, some I actually liked. When my wife found out she was pregnant with my first child she asked me if I knew what that made me. I couldn't resist the set up, so I responded, Yeah! A ************. I was good at bobbing and weaving and could run fast back then. She stopped being mad, we had five more and I was what I was.

G'Monday afternoon all! Is it hot enough out there for ya yet? If not, you can volunteer to put ball joints in my truck for me! I hope everyone is having a good day otherwise.

A few pics of CFC buggies at the salvage yard. Other than a bit of surface rust on the bumper this 93 front clip is perfect.

I think this F150 is a 90. The whole body is nice, straight and rust free.

Most of these are CFC rides. The rest are bought thru the scrap yards or auctions.

There are so many vehicles coming in the last couple of nights I've had to climb into a loader and move them in order to be sure the trucks can leave in the morning.

Quaddriver some of the stuff coming in is about at it's end anyway but a lot of it is sad. I'm not an SUV fan but most of the Explorers and Blazers should be in someone's garage not in a boneyard. Today I saw a Jaguar come off of a tiltbed. The truck stuff is moving pretty quick but I suspect a lot of the Explorer stuff will just get crushed because there are so many of them.

It's going to be a shame that some of the stuff is still going to be very road-worthy and very viable transportation for someone but instead is going to get crunched up.

Clay,
Is there many F150 & Expeditions coming through (97/98)? It's bad enough trying to find parts in my area, now its going to get worse.
