I like what I see. Nicely done. Wish mine was a rolling project...right now it's just a project. Are you running the original motor?

The motor is a 223 I6 from a 54" f-100. So if you didn't know what you were looking at it appears to be original. As for now that is my plan. Try to keep it mostly original looking, with some minor tweaks here and there. Like the suspension, I have already mounted a front sway bar. That made a HUGE difference in the handling. So, I guess that makes me a darksider now. O-well it's worth it. Eventually I would like to lower it keeping the straight axle.

I was able to get the grill and turn signals buckets mounted this weekend. I'll post pics tomorrow. I'll take some updated pics of the motor as well.

Here's the pics as requested. Last week was a painting party did the grill and blinker buckets, also painted the front and back bumpers a gloss black.

Don't know. I think am going to just enjoy driving it around for awhile. After replacing the grill, I realized how out of line and bent the passenger side body panels really are, so maybe that next. Fender, lower valence and air deflector panel.

A quick coat of clear (catalyzed).

Hey, do you have that Snap-On truck just on stand by parked close in case you need something, you must be a great customer to get that kind of service?

Looks good...I don't know why so many 53-56 F100 owners opt for the 56 grille, I really like the look of the 53. Saw a guy at a show last year that put recessed 56 headlights into a 53 grille and that looked even better. Keep up the good work!

That would look cool. I have seen them on 54-56 grilles but not a 53. Do you have any pics?

cause we want that straight across clean look. Hadn't really looked at a 53 grill before..
the 53 appears to be squareish in the cneter nose area, where the 56 is more curved.

AND the non-bugeyed headlight look..

Sam
