keep in mind, your assembly proceedure for the hub nut will be VASTLY different depending if you havethe ratcheting type nut, or the pinned locator and nut.
perform the wrong method on the part and it will be destroyed.

I can find that out as soon as I get it apart... I dont have the socket for the hub nut.. Is it possible to use a pair of channel locks on this? I never had it apart but im guessing there might be a 'tunnel' because of the locking hub. Any info.

Before I got the correct socket I had a pipe with the end cut like the socket and it had a hole drilled through it to put a big screw driver. It worked ok. But you would need to have a nut to make it correctly. The socket works the best though.

Thank you all for the information. Im heading out now. I didnt get a socket but if I cant manage something I called up a buddy at the truck shop I used to work in. HD trucks have the same special hub nuts so I can borrow one from there. Hopefully everything comes apart in decent time. Thanks again!
