Hi,
I have an 09 F250 SD CC 4x4, and I hate the air dam, valence, whatever you call it under the front bumper. I think it's too big. Does anyone know of an aftermarket one that may be a little smaller? I know I could just remove it, but I've seen those also, and then it looks unfinished, (kind of like the sides with the pinched metal seam hanging under the rocker panels).
Too bad we are about 1,000 miles away from each other. I have the Job 1 early short front air dam on my F-550 and would like to have the longer version. Problem with shipping is the shipping companies use the over all dimentions for figuring frieght which makes these light weight pieces cost oversized charges to ship. Maybe someone near you will swap out.

Where in Texas are you from? I have the long air dam on my '09 that I'm thinking about ditching or swapping for a 2wd version.
Did it make the truck run any hotter on the highway ?
I made the swap so early in the truck's life that I never gained a solid benchmark, so I can't be certain. FWIW, the Water Temp gauge pointed straight up & down during a 2 hour drive on the highway this past weekend -- not sure if that would have been different wearing the original 4wd valance.

fyrdude: I have the short bumper trim, took it off and added the long one that you have. My truck is a job #1 '08 and came with the skinny one. You can have mine. It has about 95,000 miles on it but should clean up ok.
