steering column problem
I have a '75 F-250 with an automatic column shift, w/o tilt.
I can move the wheel up and down in the column. Shifting no longer clicks into gear. It is 'sloppy' to find gears.
There is zero bearing in the top of the column to replace! So what do I need to tighten the column?
Today I am replacing the plastic bushing at the bottom of column, and changing the linkage to trans with a Lokar set up, but what needs to be replaced in the top of column?
