Ford Service Manuals

The Ford service manual on DVD is what the dealerships use. You can buy a copy from Helm, but be prepared to pay top $$$ for them. You can find outdated ones on ebay that contain the info, but require you to set the date on your computer back to when the dvd was still valid for it to work.
How many year models are you looking for Timmy? If you're wanting access to a really wide range, you might just look into alldatadiy.com. They're a sponsor here up in the Super Duty section. The prices seem a whole lot cheaper than I would have expected. It's an annual subscription, but you could stack up a whole lot of years before you'd touch the cost of the new DVD from Helm, since those only cover a few model years per DVD.

Look around. I have the big thick factory service manuals for the 1999 model year. They were given to me after the death of a friend's father who owned a 99 also. Two of them are over 2" thick and the electrical diagram one is about 5/8" thick. The DVD's are nice, but there's nothing like a late night shop manual reading.
