oil filter flow

Is oil flow a big issue with a motorcraft or purolator pure one filter? Is it better to use a premium plus with less media and fewer pleats?

I think it's a non-issue. Greater surface area means more places for the oil to flow through, all other things being equal. Purolator tech support says the Motorcraft and Pure One media are comparable, so I'd stick with these filters over the Premium Plus for its better filtering efficiency in its ability to trap smaller size particulate.
