adding a/c to carbed 460
My F350 chassis has a carbed 460 with vbelts. the cab is a 91f150 lariet setup for a.c with the evaperator in the dash and all controls. I want to add the compressor to the motor and wire it to my controls. this isnt a problem but my question is was a/c available on a 4bbl 460? if so i must try to find the engine brackets and what not. If it was not avail then i will have to find a v belt compressor off something else and make a bracket fab lines etc. would be alot easier to find a carb 460 ac truck and raid all the parts. any ideas?

Actually I'm in the middle of a little restoration so hopefully some day it will work again. Are you close to Illinois? There is an 1986 F350 being parted out on CL.
