speedometer inop

speedometer inop
On my 96 f250 powerstroke The speedometer just stoped working. The truck still shifts normal and the cruise still works. The odometer reads E 08 6 and if I hit the select button it reads 111111 and if i keep hittin it i will count up to all 9s, then 0s and it starts over. Im asuming its a problem in the cluster but i dont know. Any imput would be great. thanks
