Dan's fault...AGAIN!!!!!
Dan (TigerDan) pulled in last night in anticipation of pulling the engine/tranny and stuff off Thumper...he did catch me by suprise (even though we spoke about it last week) because the cell number he was trying to call me on has been shut off...sooo...anyways since it was hot last night, we decided we'd tackle the job today.
Plan was for him to start wrenching a few bolts to pull the cab (Dale...better hurry if you want them doors!) and I headed off to town to pick a few things up and get a new hose for the loader so we could yank the cab real quick, then just lift the engine and tranny out.
Should have been a 1 hour job...but nooooo.
After I put the new hose on, fired up the tractor....(this is where it becomes Dan's fault)...I started to raise the boom on the backhoe, ofcourse Dan had to walk around and get real close to watch, and sure enough another hose blew...in fact it belched hydraulic fluid all over Dan and his nice new shorts, so I guess there is some justice in this world
I mean it has to be his fault, no way that hose was gonna blow if I'd had been by myself, heck, me and Dale used the tractor a few weeks ago to pull and swap the beds, didn't have any problems then.
So Dan took off soon after, tail tucked between his legs, shorts and shirt full of hydraulic oil.....

I'll pull the doors as soon as the wasps calm down...man, it's been a tough year for those suckers, never had so many large nests. Dan even spotted a large nest inside the barn, I've never had them build one inside before.
