Heads Question

I am currently putting together a 302 to put in my 85 f150 and have two sets of the crappy e7 heads. Although one set has roller rockers and dual valve springs, could this be stock? The other set of heads came off of the motor I am putting together. I was also considering the explorer gt40 (not 40p cause of plug clearance). Let me know your opinion.

302 build:
b303 cam
performer rpm intake
holley 600cfm
hedman long tube ceramic coated headers (don't actually have yet).
etc

Thanks,
Sean

The GT40 heads will make more power though if the set of E7's with the double valve springs are also ported they would be close... depends if the porter knew what he was doing of course. Double springs is definitely not stock though and that engine combo works really well... should make well over 300hp with the GT40s.

Is there any good information on porting e7 heads? I'm no expert, but I'm no idiot either.

Thanks
