i/c replace

hey everyone, im going to be doing a i/c replace on my buddies o4 6.0.. anyone have any info on the removal, easiest way, tips tricks ??? thanx this will be my first 6.0 job but im sure not the last.

I don't have my X with me as I write this but I believe this will work. I'm doing this from a 62 year old memory when I installed my studs back in April.

Remove the radiator holding brackets (2) and the black air dam thingy between the grill and the radiator. CAUTION: I don't think it will but be sure the radiator does not lay against the fan.
Remove the other 2 holding brackets that attach to the cross member. I believe that hold the AC condenser in place or the IC. Not sure but they need to be removed.
Clear all battery cables and other wiring from the cross member.
Remove the 8 cross member bolts with a 13mm wrench/socket.
After the cross member is removed, you should see the IC.
Remove the 2 IC hoses and the IC should lift right out.

awesome, i had someone tell me i had to take the whole front end apart. thats great info thanx alot.
