My parents 40th anniversary party is that Sat. (8th). We already have long-time family and fiends coming in. (Some as far away as Cali- maybe Phillipines too).

well i posted that the 28th and 29th would be better in the BS thread but the more i think about it i may be able to unclinch my butt cheeks and fork out a little extra cash and make it. so i'm 95% sure i'll be able to make it on the 7th and 8th. so you can go ahead and chalk up a whopping 4 on the will show roster!

 

Guys, How about meeting up in the parking lot ,Sassafras & Park Marina there at the park?

 

what are we gonna do there? you talking about just so we can all make it to the camp site? i don't know if we are all gonna be getting there at the same time. i'm coming from beaufort. it's gonna take me a few hours to get there so i can't make any promises of when i'll be there.

 

Hello everyone, I will be coming from Greenville and I think it's about 80 or 90 miles. Who's bringing their family? I'll be bringing my wife and I plan to camp over night.

Well I can't get a reservation to camp!!! I was going to go Friday to set up my tent and stay until Saturday, but THAT won't be happening.

 

are all the sites booked up? i'm not going to be able to make it up there until probably 8pm at the latest. i was under the impression that we were going to be camping. it isn't really going to be worth it for me to go if we aren't.

 

I agree, I could'nt believe that they were all booked up. I am already a member on line to just check in, when I went on line to get a camp site, they were full!! I did'nt believe it so I called the reservation desk and she told me the same thing.

I'm open to suggestion's? Do we go and eat, then leave?

 

would it be a problem if we just delayed for a few weeks and called the park and made reservations now?

Dave, A few weeks from now would be better for me.......... I had a very large mature pecan tree break and fall onto my fence and into my neighbors property......

I think moving the date would be better too!! As soon as I see when we can get a date to camp, we will set a date!!

 

i think most places in the summer time you have to book 3-4 weeks in advance in order to get a spot. so we are going to have to find a date around then and find out who is willing to commit and gauge what size or how many lots we'll need to reserve from that!
