So what you're sayin' is that because I didn't spend $1200 in custom wheels and another $3800 in tires, for a grand total of $5000 on top of what I've already spent, I can't be accepted in the offroad forum?

We've got an trip planned for this weekend off Union Grove Road in Lithonia, Ga. Good number of rigs confirmed including some high dollar Heeps that would probably walk all over these guys' trucks.

If you want to stay, welcome to the real world. Everything isn't sunshine and butterflies. Do i have a truck as nice as these other guys? Heck no. But i beat it like a red headed step child. I plowed it through mud. Real mud, not dirty water. I stayed, i listened. I learned. I give what advice i have and soak up what ever advice people want to give. THAT is what this forum is about. Coming in here and posting pictures, getting comments you dont like then complaining about it only makes it easier for people to poke fun at you.
We all start somewhere, get off your perch, step down, step back. Watch listen, learn. Ask LEGIT questions, and you will be AMAZED at the response you get.

I've been hit or miss here lately, but i remember your snide comments when i used to visit here. I see your still upset cause your jealous of other peoples trucks, and now you have to bring high dollar "heeps" which is exactly what they are, into the equation. The more you post the more i realize the fail starts WAY before you contraption of a truck. It starts at your misfiring neurons.

personally i didnt get offended. and the topic is 4x4 pictures which doesnt actually say anything about mud or dirty water. sure im not gonna spend thousands on a mud truck mainly because i cant afford it and im not personally into big lifted trucks and giant tires. im more into the prerunner scene. point being is, i posted a picture of a 4 wheel drive vehicle and i will say kirbys truck was quite muddy...even though he was being towed out lol.

Im really not trying to sound like a raging Dooshcake. But... im sure i will anyway...
The pics you posted i could get similar in a ford focus. Or a ford tempo.
The pre-runner scene is cool too, i hate wind, which comes with the dunes. So its not for me. But to each there own. Just dont expect good things to be said about your dirty truck.
As for kirby's truck, yes its muddy. But he started a different argument.
When it comes to mudding, i had fun in my truck stock on bfg a/t's. 285/75"s
It wasn't a big lifted mud truck, but i ran it through mud, and it did good unless i got into more than 4" of mud. You can get some M/T tires for your truck and have fun at stock height. Work more on the mud, and less on the mud puddles. Plus bombing through puddles can be bad news for your engine. Been there done that. (my first rebuild)

I also notice how his axle is in the mud, which is greatly hindering his forward momentum. While on your truck, yours are clearly not in the mud.
I really dont understand why you would build a massive truck like that, then screw your self on tires. Pick up some ag's or something.... dang.

eh, im not trying to carry on or start an argument over the internet or anything, but the way i see it is, you gotta run with what ya got. if a long *** dirt road with a few deep ruts and puddles is all you have in the general area, then hit it. if you have mud holes or some ditches, then hit it. point is, some locations get mud, some get sand, and some get dirt roads.

Also 400hp stroker screams Small block to me. 400 hp is a joke in the mud scene, as im sure you know. I know mud trucks that roam the streets with more than double that. 400 hp isn't impressive. with 44" tires i would think 5.38 would be minimum to be honest. I know that Georgia clay is sticky, but so do you. Build for it, dont bitch about it.
