Clunk hard shift into OD
Hello, read some other posts on this subject but no answers. 92 5.0 shifts very hard into overdrive. A little worse as it warms up. Any ideas? I replaced the fluid and filter but there was no change. Also what trans is this? an AOT? What's the difference between an AOD? Electronics?

im not too sure the difference i think the aot is a newer style aod but im not sure. but the hard clunk intoo overdrive i would try to adjust the tv cable on the throttle body.ull have to unlock the clip that the cable runs through . all u have to do is take up the slack in the cable but u dont want to have any tension on it either. i had the same problem about a month ago thers a really good video explaining it on u tube.
