I am about to reinstall the fuel tanks in my 78 F250 4x4 Supercab. The tanks are both steel, and are what came out of the truck when I took them apart. I have cleaned both tanks, painted and undercoated all the related parts.
My question is... What to use on the straps to protect the tanks.
Do I try to find some canvas like the factory used?
